Handle Operation – The volume and temperature of the water are controlled by the two handles, HOT and COLD.
Valve Installation – As the valve [Part # WLM.1900] is installed, care should be taken to maintain a proper distance from the back of the valve to the surface of the finished tile which should be between 2.39” and 3.09”. Also, the valve must be installed horizontally and not at an angle. In case, a tile is thicker, or wall is deep, extensions are used for elongating both handles of the valve to ensure the proper setting of the trim. Extension kits can be ordered separately in Chrome, Brushed Nickel, or other special finishes.
Cut Out Dimensions – The cut out in wall should be 3 holes, 1.3 inches in diameter which will properly be covered by the trim plates. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall.
Trims – The trims comprise of well-finished handle knobs, handle trims, cartridge covers, and spout. Depending upon the shower model, trims can be of different shape and size, varying from square to circular shower handles.
